Letting go of Worry

Heavenly Father,
Today I lay down the heavy burden of worry at Your feet. You tell me in Your Word, “Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34). And so, I trust You with my today and my tomorrows.
Your Word says in Philippians 4:6, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” So here I am, Lord, presenting my heart to You—every fear, every unknown, every unanswered question.
I take comfort in knowing that You are “the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8), and You have promised in Isaiah 41:10, “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you.”
When anxious thoughts rise, calm my mind with Your truth. When I feel overwhelmed, remind me that “You keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You” (Isaiah 26:3).
Help me, Lord, to live fully in this day—seeking Your kingdom, trusting Your plan, and resting in Your presence. You are my peace, my provider, and the One who holds all things together.
In Jesus’ precious name,
Amen.
