Maria

Maria has a heart for service and a passion for baking that she believes is a calling from God. For over 25 years, she has been using her gift to share the love of Jesus Christ through homemade cookies. Each bag of cookies is carefully crafted with love and paired with a handwritten scripture verse, offering a message of hope to everyone who receives it. Called to this unique ministry, Maria sees her cookies as more than a sweet treat—they are an expression of God’s grace and a way to reach people with His love. Through her baking, she prays that hearts will be touched, lives changed, and faith renewed in the goodness of God.

Jeanne

Jeanne has been a cherished friend and partner in ministry for over two years, faithfully joining Maria in writing and sharing God’s Word. Her encouragement has been a true blessing, especially during some of Maria’s hardest moments. Jeanne’s heart for others led her to invite Maria to a Bible study group, where she connected with many of the wonderful women who now form the heart of A Message of Hope. Jeanne’s friendship, faithfulness, and love for God’s Word have been instrumental in this journey, and her impact continues to inspire and uplift everyone she meets.

Damecha

Damecha is a courageous single mom and a powerful example of resilience. Maria met her at a Bible study group, where her strength and determination to keep moving forward deeply inspired everyone around her. A true conqueror, Damecha faces life’s challenges with grace and unwavering faith. Her story and her generous spirit have touched countless lives, and she brings so much wisdom, love, and encouragement to all who know her. Damecha’s journey is a testament to God’s strength, and she continues to be a blessing to A Message of Hope and beyond.

Sheri

Sheri is a woman with a generous, loving heart that shines in everything she does. Her joyful spirit and practical wisdom are a blessing to all who know her. She served as Maria’s Bible study leader for a season, and their friendship has blossomed into one of encouragement and support. Sheri brings both warmth and practical insight, always ready to offer a listening ear and wise words just when they’re needed most. Her heart for others is immense, and her presence brings joy and hope to everyone at A Message of Hope.

Shelby is the youngest member of A Message of Hope, and her energy is absolutely electric. She radiates a joy in the Lord that lights up every room—a joy born from overcoming tremendous struggles and experiencing God’s powerful deliverance. Shelby’s testimony is one of resilience, faith, and transformation, inspiring everyone she meets. Her unwavering joy and vibrant spirit remind us of God’s ability to redeem and renew, making her a living testament to His grace and love. Shelby’s passion for sharing her story brings hope to all and is a treasured blessing to the community.
