An Invitation to Come to Jesus
Romans 10:9
If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Reflection
Over the past few days, we’ve walked through an important part of the story of the Bible.
We looked at the law and how it reveals the truth about our hearts. We saw that we cannot make ourselves right with God by our own effort. We saw how God promised to provide a sacrifice. We saw how that promise pointed to the Messiah. And we saw how Jesus fulfilled those promises. All of this leads to a very personal question.
What will you do with Jesus?
The message of the gospel is not just information. It’s an invitation. Jesus didn’t come simply to teach about God. He came to open the way for us to know God personally. Through His death and resurrection, He made it possible for our sins to be forgiven and for our relationship with God to be restored. But like any invitation, it must be received. Jesus once said something simple and beautiful:
"Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)
Those words are still an invitation today. If you’ve never responded to Jesus before, you can begin that relationship right now. It doesn’t require perfect words or a perfect life. It simply begins with turning your heart toward Him—acknowledging your need for forgiveness and trusting Him as your Savior and Lord. When we come to Jesus in faith, something remarkable happens. Our sins are forgiven. Our hearts are made new. And we begin a new life walking with Him. The invitation is open. And Jesus is waiting.
A Simple Prayer
Lord Jesus, I know that I need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins and rose again so that I could be restored to God. I turn to You today and ask You to forgive me and make my heart new. Help me follow You and learn to walk with You each day. Thank You for loving me and welcoming me into Your family. Amen.
