Loosening Your Grip
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
— Psalm 46:10

Reflection
Stillness feels vulnerable.
When we stop moving, our thoughts get louder. Our fears surface. Our “what ifs” rise.
But stillness is not weakness. It is trust in motion.
To be still does not mean to be passive. It means to stop striving long enough to remember who God is.
Sometimes our exhaustion isn’t from responsibility — it’s from carrying responsibility that was never ours.
You are not God.
And that is very good news.
Prayer
Father, I release what I have been gripping too tightly. Teach me the holy rhythm of stillness. Remind me that You are God, and I am safely held in Your care. In Jesus' Name I pray Amen
