Faith That Makes Room for Honesty
Psalm 62:8
“Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is our refuge.”

Reflection
Faith rooted in grace makes room for honesty. It does not demand constant certainty. It allows you to pour out your heart without filtering your questions.
Sometimes exhaustion grows because we feel we must stay strong that doubt or sadness would signal weakness. But Scripture invites us to pour out our hearts. Not polished. Not rehearsed. Honest.
God is not threatened by your feelings. He is your refuge. When faith becomes relational again, it stops requiring you to hide. It draws you closer in your weakness instead of pushing you away in shame.
Prayer
Father, thank You that I can come honestly before You. Help me release the need to appear strong. Teach me to pour out my heart without fear. Be my refuge in this season. Amen.
Reflection Questions
Have I felt the need to hide parts of myself from God?
What would it look like to be more honest in prayer?
How does refuge feel different from performance?
Today’s Thought
