You Are Not Carrying This Alone

“Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He… I will carry you.”
— Isaiah 46:4

I am not alone — God is carrying me.

Reflection

By now, you may be realizing something important: you were never meant to carry everything on your own.

God has always been the One who carries.

This verse is such a quiet promise. God doesn’t say He will carry you only when you’re strong, faithful, or consistent. He says He will carry you through every season  even when your strength fades, even when the road feels long.

That means your weariness hasn’t disqualified you.
Your exhaustion hasn’t surprised Him.
And your need hasn’t pushed Him away.

Sometimes the strongest thing we can do is stop pretending we’re okay and allow ourselves to be carried.

You may still have responsibilities. You may still have decisions ahead of you. But you are not walking through them alone. God’s presence goes with you, steady and faithful, holding what feels too heavy for you right now.

Today, let that truth settle in: you are supported. You are upheld. You are not alone in this.

Prayer

God,
Thank You for being the One who carries me through every season.
Help me trust Your care when I feel weak or unsure.
Teach me how to rest in the truth that I am not alone.

I place myself in Your hands today.

Amen.
