You Were Never Meant to Carry This Alone
1 Peter 5:7
“Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.”

Reflection
Exhausted faith often grows where we try to carry everything ourselves — outcomes, expectations, spiritual consistency, and other people’s opinions. Slowly, faith becomes something we manage instead of something we receive.
But Scripture is simple and freeing: cast it. That word implies movement. Release. Transfer the weight from your shoulders to His. Not because you are weak — but because He cares.
Faith does not mean holding everything together. It means trusting that God is holding you. When you begin to release the pressure you’ve been carrying, something shifts. Faith begins to breathe again.
Prayer
Lord, I have been carrying more than I was meant to. Help me release my anxiety to You. Teach me that care and control are not the same thing. Remind me that You are holding what I cannot. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.
Reflection Questions
What am I still trying to manage alone?
What would it look like to truly “cast” that onto God?
How does knowing He cares change how I release control?
Today’s Thought
I am not the one holding everything together — God is.
