PRAYERS FOR LOVED ONES
When I’m Praying
for Someone I Love

SCRIPTURE
“The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise…
not wanting anyone to perish,
but everyone to come to repentance.”
— 2 Peter 3:9
PRAYER
Father, You are loving, patient, and merciful. You pursue those who are far from You with compassion and grace. Lored you are not slow in keeping Your promise for You do not want anyone to perish, but to have everyone come to repentance.
Lord, I lift up my loved ones before You today, especially those who do not yet know You personally. You see their hearts, their struggles, and the places where they are searching for peace and purpose. Sometimes I become fearful or discouraged when I do not see change. But You are still pursuing them even when I cannot see it. Please soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and draw them into relationship with Jesus Christ.
I surrender my fears, worries, and desire to control outcomes into Your hands. I trust that You love my loved ones even more deeply than I do.
Thank You for never giving up on those You love. Thank You that Your mercy continues reaching toward my loved ones even now. I trust You to work powerfully in their hearts and lives.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
