Jesus, You are gentle and compassionate toward weary hearts. I believe all who are weary and burdened can come to You and You will give them rest. 

Lord, I grow tired from carrying burdens You never intended for me to carry alone. Worry, fear, emotional exhaustion, and striving have weighed heavily upon my heart. Sometimes I hold tightly to stress because I fear what will happen if I let go. Please help me release these burdens into Your loving hands and trust that You are able to care for me more perfectly than I ever could myself.

I surrender my fears, worries, emotional burdens, and exhaustion into Your care. I trust that You are able to carry what feels too heavy for me.

Thank You for inviting me to rest in Your presence. Thank You that I do not have to strive endlessly to hold everything together. I trust You to sustain and strengthen me daily.
