2 Timothy

2 Timothy takes its name from Timothy, Paul’s trusted coworker and spiritual son in the faith. Written near the end of Paul’s life, the letter is deeply personal, urging Timothy to remain faithful to the gospel despite suffering, opposition, and difficult times. Paul calls him to guard the truth, endure hardship, handle Scripture faithfully, and continue the work God has entrusted to him. 2 Timothy reveals the importance of perseverance, courage, and steadfast faithfulness to Christ even when the cost is high.
