Ezra

Ezra tells the story of God’s people returning from exile in Babylon and beginning the difficult work of rebuilding their life in Jerusalem. The book follows the restoration of the temple, renewed worship, and Ezra’s later ministry of teaching the Law and calling the people back to covenant faithfulness. Progress is often slow and opposed, but God remains at work through rulers, leaders, and ordinary people. Ezra reveals the Lord as the God who restores, keeps His promises, and calls His people not only to rebuild what was lost, but to return to Him with faithful hearts.
