Jeremiah

Jeremiah takes its name from the prophet Yirmeyahu (יִרְמְיָהוּ), who was called by God to speak to Judah during the years leading up to Jerusalem’s fall and exile. The book records warnings of judgment, calls to repentance, Jeremiah’s personal grief, and promises of future restoration. Even as the nation turns away from God, Jeremiah reveals the Lord as just, patient, and deeply compassionate—the God who disciplines His people yet continues to pursue them and promises a new covenant written on their hearts.
