Jude

Jude takes its name from Jude, who identifies himself as a servant of Jesus Christ and a brother of James. The letter urges believers to remain faithful to the truth of the gospel in the face of false teachers who were distorting God’s grace and leading others into ungodly living. Jude draws on examples from Israel’s Scriptures and Jewish tradition to warn about rebellion and judgment. The letter calls God’s people to contend for the faith, build one another up, show mercy with discernment, and remain rooted in the love of God.
