Micah

Micah takes its name from the prophet Mikhah (מִיכָה), a shortened form of a name meaning “Who is like the LORD?” Micah spoke during a time of corruption, injustice, idolatry, and growing danger for both Israel and Judah. The book confronts leaders who abused power and people whose worship had become disconnected from faithful living. Micah reveals the Lord as just and compassionate—the God who judges sin, calls His people to walk humbly and faithfully with Him, and promises restoration through a coming ruler from Bethlehem.
