Nehemiah

Nehemiah tells the story of God’s people rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem after the exile and restoring their life together as a covenant community. The book follows Nehemiah as he responds to Jerusalem’s broken condition with prayer, courageous leadership, careful planning, and perseverance in the face of opposition. Alongside the rebuilding of the city, the people hear God’s Word, confess their sin, and renew their commitment to Him. Nehemiah reveals the Lord as the God who restores what has been broken, strengthens His people for faithful work, and calls them to rebuild their lives around worship, obedience, and dependence on Him.
