Ruth
Ruth takes its name from the Moabite woman whose faithfulness and courage stand at the center of the story. Set during the time of the judges, the book follows Ruth and her mother-in-law Naomi through grief, uncertainty, provision, and restoration. Ruth’s loyalty leads her into the people of Israel, where God quietly works through ordinary acts of kindness, integrity, and faithfulness. The book reveals the Lord as the God who provides, redeems, and weaves even painful circumstances into a larger story of grace—one that ultimately becomes part of the family line of King David and, later, Jesus.
