He Can Carry What You Can’t

Reflection
Yesterday, we named the tiredness, the kind that comes from holding too much for too long.
Today, Scripture invites us to take the next small step: letting Jesus carry what we’ve been trying to manage on our own.
It can feel risky to hand things over. Sometimes we’ve been the strong one for so long that we don’t know how to stop carrying everything. We worry that if we loosen our grip, things might fall apart.
But Jesus is not overwhelmed by what overwhelms us.
He is steady where we feel unsteady. He is present where we feel stretched thin. Nothing you bring to Him is too much, too complicated, or too heavy.
Casting our burdens doesn’t mean we suddenly feel better or that our circumstances change overnight. It means we choose not to carry them alone anymore. It means trusting that Jesus is strong enough to hold what we cannot.
You don’t have to solve everything today.
You don’t have to carry every concern at once.
You can place one thing — just one — into His hands and trust that He will sustain you.
Prayer
Jesus,
You see everything I’ve been holding onto.
Help me loosen my grip and trust You with what feels heavy today.
Teach me to believe and surrender to You each and every burden. I know that You are strong enough to carry all of my troubles. Lord I give You one of my burdens now. The burden of _______________
Thank You for sustaining me when I feel worn down. In Your Name I pray.
Amen.
