Living for His Glory
Scripture:
“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31)
Reflection:
Paul reminds us that glorifying God isn’t just about spiritual moments — it encompasses everything. Even the most ordinary activities like eating and drinking can honor Him when done with gratitude and awareness of His presence. Glorifying God means making His greatness visible through our daily lives.
Often, we think of glorifying God as something that happens in big acts of faith or ministry. But the truth is, His glory shines when we live with integrity, love others well, and give thanks in all circumstances. Every choice can either point to ourselves or point to Him.
Living for His glory requires a shift in perspective. Instead of asking, “What do I want from this?” we begin to ask, “How can God be honored in this?” When this becomes our lens, our lives become a continuous act of worship.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to live every part of my life for Your glory. Teach me to see even ordinary moments as opportunities to point to You.
Reflection Questions:
Do I approach daily activities as opportunities to glorify God?
What would change if I began asking, “How can this bring God glory?”
