Glorifying God in Daily Life
Scripture:
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”(Matthew 5:16)
Reflection:
Jesus calls us to let our light shine — not so that we are praised but so that God is glorified. Our daily lives, through acts of kindness, integrity, and love, become a testimony that draws people to Him.
Glorifying God doesn’t always look spectacular. It’s in the quiet acts of faithfulness — serving a neighbor, forgiving someone who wronged us, or working with integrity. These small lights shine brightly in a world that often feels dark.
When we live in such a way that people notice something different, it opens the door for them to see God through us. Our obedience, compassion, and love become evidence of His presence and power.
Prayer:
Father, let my light shine in daily life so that others may see You in me and give glory to Your name.
Reflection Questions:
What daily actions of mine point people to God?
2. How can I be intentional about glorifying Him through my everyday choices?
