Glorifying God in All Things
Scripture:
“For from Him and through Him and for Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.” (Romans 11:36)
Reflection:
Paul closes his doxology with a sweeping truth: everything comes from God, exists through Him, and ultimately is for His glory. Our lives find meaning when they are oriented toward this reality. Glorifying God is not an occasional act; it is the purpose of our existence.
This perspective changes everything. Our work, relationships, and daily routines are no longer just about us — they are opportunities to reflect His glory. Even our struggles and weaknesses can bring glory to Him when they reveal His power and grace.
To glorify God in all things is to live with open hands, saying, “Lord, my life is Yours.” It means surrendering our plans, desires, and ambitions to His will and trusting that His glory is the highest good.
Prayer:
Lord, to You belongs all glory. Teach me to live each day with the purpose of glorifying You in everything I do.
