What Will You Do With Jesus?
But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name,
He gave the right to become children of God.
John 1:12

Reflection
Over the past several days, we’ve walked through one of the most important stories ever told. We looked at the law and how it reveals the truth about our hearts. We saw that we cannot save ourselves. We saw how God promised to provide a sacrifice. We saw how the prophets spoke about the coming Messiah. We saw how Jesus gave His life on the cross as the Lamb of God. And we saw the victory of the resurrection.
All of this leads to a very personal question.
What will you do with Jesus?
The gospel is not just a story to learn about it’s an invitation to respond. Jesus didn’t come simply to teach people about God. He came so that we could be restored to God. Through His death and resurrection, He made it possible for our sins to be forgiven and for us to begin a new life with Him. But like any invitation, it must be received.
Jesus once said, Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."(Matthew 11:28) Those words are still an invitation today. If you have never placed your trust in Jesus, you can begin that relationship right now. It starts with acknowledging that we need His forgiveness and believing that He is the Savior God promised.
When we turn to Him in faith, God does something remarkable.
Our sins are forgiven.
Our hearts are made new.
And we begin a life walking with Him.
The invitation is open. And Jesus is waiting.
A Simple Prayer
Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Savior God promised. I believe that You died for my sins and rose again so that I could be forgiven and restored to God. I turn to You today and ask You to forgive me and make my heart new. Help me follow You and learn to walk with You each day. Thank You for loving me and welcoming me into Your family. Amen.
