Pt. 1 - Becoming a God Seeker: Your Invitation to Pursue Him

More than anything, become a God-seeker—chasing His heart, His presence, His truth.

Hi Friends,

Have you ever felt a deep yearning to know God more intimately—not just to learn about Him, but to experience His presence in a way that transforms your heart and life? If so, you’re not alone. That desire to seek Him, to chase after His heart, is one of the greatest adventures of faith.

Today, I want to invite you on a journey—a journey to becoming a God Seeker.

What Does It Mean to Be a God Seeker?

To be a God Seeker is to actively and intentionally pursue God with all your heart, soul, and mind. It’s about moving beyond a surface-level faith and stepping into a deeper relationship with the One who created you, loves you, and longs to be close to you.

God calls us to seek Him in Deuteronomy 4:29:"But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul."

It’s not about being perfect or having all the answers—it’s about having a heart that’s hungry for Him.

Why Seek God?

God desires to be found by us. In fact, He promises that when we seek Him, we will find Him. Becoming a God Seeker isn’t about religious duty; it’s about relationship. When we seek Him, we discover:

• Peace that calms the storms of life (Philippians 4:6-7).

• Joy that can’t be shaken by circumstances (Psalm 16:11).

• Guidance in every step of our journey (Proverbs 3:5-6).

• Love that fills the deepest places of our hearts (1 John 4:16).

Seeking God isn’t about finding something—it’s about finding Someone.

What You Can Expect on This Journey

Over the coming weeks, we’ll explore what it means to truly seek God. We’ll talk about practical ways to pursue Him through prayer, His Word, worship, and listening for His voice. We’ll share stories of God’s faithfulness, encouragement for the journey, and tools to help you grow closer to Him.

Whether you’ve been walking with the Lord for years or you’re just starting to explore who He is, this journey is for you. God doesn’t expect perfection—just a willing heart.

Your First Step as a God Seeker

Start where you are. Spend a few quiet moments today asking God to reveal more of Himself to you. Open your Bible to Jeremiah 29:13 and let this promise sink into your heart:"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

Write it in your journal, pray it aloud, and let it be the foundation for this season of seeking Him.
